The AGAS Trading Hut
The AGAS Trading Hut is located just inside Fisherton Farm Allotment Site A, and can be accessed from Coldharbour Lane by heading north west past the Riverside Tennis Club.
The shop is open 9:30am - 12:30pm Saturdays and Sundays, and 6:00 - 8:00pm Wednesdays from the 4th weekend of January to the end of September, and Sundays only in October. Parking is available next to the shop during these times.
The shop stocks a wide range of gardening essentials available for members of the Allotment & Gardens Association Salisbury at very competitive prices. Our commitment to our members is to make sure the goods we sell are sold at the best possible price we can offer, which makes a year’s membership for £5 an excellent deal for any keen gardener. Membership runs from 1st January – 31st December.
All year round stock includes a range of vegetable and flower seeds, compost, well rotted manure, netting and fibre by the metre, potting equipment and other gardening tools and sundries. We also carry a selection of seasonal stock such as seed potatoes, onions and garlic.
We are always keen to receive feedback as to what to stock in the shop. If you think something is missing which we should consider stocking, Please let us know!
The shop is staffed entirely by volunteers. If you feel you could give up a morning by working in the shop we would love to hear from you! As well as helping us to keep the shop open and running it’s a great chance to socialise and get to know other like minded people in the area.
